Pink Bourbon Washed

We are passionate about coffee, and we want to share with you how we produce it. Our coffee beans are carefully picked from the trees when they are ripe and juicy. Then we put them in a machine that removes some pulp, but leaves a sticky layer on the beans. This layer is important because it helps the beans develop their flavor and aroma.

We let the beans ferment for 42 hours in a controlled environment, where the sticky layer becomes more intense and attaches to the beans. This is a crucial step for creating a rich and complex coffee.

After the fermentation, we dry the beans slowly and gently. We spread them in thin layers and turn them every 5 days to make sure they dry evenly. The drying process can take up to 25 days, depending on the weather and humidity. During this time, the beans lose their water and become ready for roasting. This is how we make our coffee beans with love and care.

Get to Know Us

Our  Story

Our family's coffee business has a rich and storied tradition that started with our great-grandfather, Carlos Enrique Rivera, who grew coffee with passion and dedication near the Mesa de Elías Huila in Colombia.

His coffee beans were renowned for their quality and sold to Colombian families. As the representative of the south of Huila of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia (FNC), he not only improved the quality of our growers but also shared his knowledge about the coffee production process.

Social Engagement

The passage expresses pride in the family's long history of excellence in coffee production and community leadership. We are committed to passing down the passion for coffee production to future generations to ensure transparency and education for the children of coffee growers. Through our program called ‘Agents of Change’.
